Separatists allegedly kill civilian in Alakuma, Bamenda

A man identified as Boma Henry has been shot to death, by armed men identified by locals as Ambazonia separatist fighters.

The incident, reports say, occurred on the night of Saturday, February 3, 2023, in Alakuma, Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon.

“Gunmen attacked Alakuma yesterday at around 11pm and shot Mr. Boma Henry,” a local told MMI.

According to the source, “separatist fighters took him and shot him near his home.”

“He was pulled out of his house and shot,” he added.

Attempts to save Henry’s life were futile, and he finally died in a nearby health facility.

“He died upon reaching the hospital due to too much bleeding,” he said.

It is not known why Henry was targeted and killed.
