Separatists condemn attack on Bafut Palace

The 7 Kata separatist group of Bafut has condemned an attack on the Bafut palace. The attack which happened today, the group says, was carried out by the Cameroon military.

The attacks it said left a Prince shot and several others beaten. Doors of the palace’s queen mother’s were reportedly smashed and food and property destroyed.

Government has so far not made any comments on the accusations. The attack it should be noted comes at a time when consulations are ongoing in view of a grand national dialogue.
