Separatists launch fresh manhunt against “fake restoration forces”

Ambazonia fighters say they have have intensified the fight against “blacklegs and fake restoration forces” who go around committing atrocities while tarnishing the image of their revolution.

Leonard popularly called DJ was last night, August 3, shot and killed by Ambazonia fighters after he resisted being taken at the Nancho neighborhood in Bamenda.

Sources within the the Nacho neighborhood in Bamenda revealed that Leonard was a fighter who “disappeared”.

“He owned a gun and is reported to have been using the gun to terrorize the population and kidnapping for ransom in the name of Amba,” a source told Mimi Mefo Info.

A resident revealed to Mimi Mefo Info that when the fighters got hint of the act, they went for him where he lives.

After investigations, the fighters demanded the gun and asked him to accompany them. He resisted and in an attempt to remove a pistol from his pocket, the fighters shot and killed him on the spot.

The separatist fighters had in earlier instances, promises trouble for those monetizing their cause.
