Kaikai and Doreissou, two localities in the Mayo Danay divion of the Far North region are once more victims of floods.
This was after heavy rains on Friday that several homes and property damaged.
In addition to the damage recorded, residents say they have been abandoned to themselves.
Media reports place the number of abandoned families at over a hundred, with the majority being kids.
They are seeking refuge at schools and whatever safe area they can find. As persons of goodwill rush to their aid with food and clothes, government is yet to make any move to ensure they find relief.
