Several Passengers injured in car accident along Buea-Kumba road

Several Passengers have been wounded with some in critical condition following an accident on the Kumba Buea road.

The accident occurred this Wednesday, March 21, 2023, at Mabonji.

A 30-seater bus transporting passengers is said to have lost control and landed in a valley.

Most of the passengers sustained severe injuries and some lost consciousness.

They were removed from the bus by passersby for medical attention.

“This is Mabonji on the Buea-Kumba road,” an eyewitness told MMI adding, “We are removing the victims and taking them close to the road before taking them to the hospital”

An amateur footage of the accident obtained by MMI shows some victims struggling to rescue themselves while others are being carried by some good ‘samaritans’

At the time of this report, no life was lost. However, some cases were very much critical.
