Shock in Mbonge as man and two sons killed in military raid

A man and his two sons have been killed by alleged government forces in Mbonge, Meme Division of the South West Region.

The incident occurred Monday, October 10, 2022.

According to reports, the bodies of the man and his three sons were discovered in a pool of blood shortly after a military raid was carried out in the neighborhood.

The identity of the three deceased is yet to be known by MMI.

It should be recalled that on March 18, 2021, soldiers invaded Foe Bakundu in Mbonge Subdivision and killed dozens of civilians including women, the old and kids.

Many of such scenes are noted to have taken place in the Anglophone regions of the country as soldiers combat separatist fighters. Th army in some instances has claimed responsibility and promised to deal with the soldiers responsible.
