Once again Cameroonians are on the recieving end of bad news as another road accident, due to the uncivil behaviours of the driver, has cost the life of at least six passengers on the Batouri-Bertoua road axis today, in the East Region.
According to various media reports, the public transport vehicle left Bertoua at high speed, heading for Batouri, the capital of the Kadey division. Driving rough and speedy, through the heavy rains which had fallen, the driver of the vehicle tried overtaking a private car on the road, causing a fatal collision which led to instant death of all six occupants of the vehicle.
The victims of the accident have been taken to the Pathological Anatomy Unit of the Batouri District Hospital. The police meanwhile have opened Investigations to establish the real cause of the accident.
