By David Atangana

At least six young men said to be Separatist Ambazonia fighters have laid down their arms and surrendered to authorities.

The fighters from Mundemba, Ndian division of the restive South West region dropped their weapons on May 16, 2023, to embrace peace.

Reports say the fighters were led out of the Separatist cause by a certain General Baron, one of the Separatist commanders in the area.

They have been received by defense and security forces and will likely join their mates at Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Center, DDR, in Buea, South West region.

The separatist movement is yet to react to the latest development.
