Soldiers allegedly kill two drivers on Bamenda-Kumbo road

Men in military attire have reportedly killed two drivers plying the Bamenda-Kumbo road in the restive North West region, MMI has gathered.

They were killed in the night of Sunday January 29, 2023.

The two drivers whose identities are yet to be established were reportedly heading to Jakiri in Bui division when they were stopped by soldiers.

Sources say they were questioned for driving at night.

However,it is not known what transpired before they were killed but reports say, “a verbal exchange between the drivers and the soldiers resulted with them being shot at close range.”

The deceased are natives of Nso.
