Soldiers attack Peng-Tombel, Shoot and Paralyze a widow on both legs

The Cameroon military are again on the spotlight, and as always not for the right reasons.

The anglophone crisis in the North West and South West Regions which is now in its fourth year has served as a real eye opener to many.

The government forces who have often been touted as professionals by their bosses have been at the forefront of numerous atrocities committed in the two restive regions.

Just as Cameroonians are still grappling on information of security agents arresting Mr. Amba Denis because he’s name sounded like “Ambazonia”, MMI has received yet another case in Tombel which once again brings to question the level of Cameroon’s military professionalism.

In their latest raid some days back in Tombel, soldiers shot an paralyzed a widow on her two legs under unclear circumstances.

The victim who goes by the name Elizabeth Sume, is a widow who lost her husband last year. She is equally diabetic, a source close to the family tells MMI.

The source reveals that she was attacked in her home together with her daughter-in-Law, Kantina Ekote Elizabeth Sume, “a lactating mom who was equally shot on both legs by the same military. Like her mother-in-law, Ekote is equally diabetic with High blood pressure,” added the source.

Villagers in Tombel have been left dejected by the actions of the military forces in their town.

In the midst of the chaos they created on their entry into Tombel from Ndab’kom, they robbed villagers off their hard earned monies and equally looted property as revealed by indegenes.
