Soldiers kill 14-year-old girl in Tiko

The family of a fourteen year old girl is still grieving after she was shot dead on August 12 2020.

A source said she was killed by the military.

The girl said to have been like a bread winner to her family was shot at Banja Quarter behind their house.

“They were in search of snails and they mistook them for amba fighters” a source told Mimi Mefo Info.

Several civilians have been victims of the Anglophone crisis that has been on for close to four years now.

Soldiers and separatist fighters keep trading blames over the killings and human rights abuses.
