South Region: Falling tree kills motorcyclist

The remains of a young man were discovered lying under a tree that happened to have fallen on the road at Kye-Ossi in the South region of Cameroon.

The young man according to reports was riding his motorcycle when he was crushed down by the falling tree.

It is not clear what caused the tree to fall, but many believe it is due to either landslides or heavy winds.

His corpse has been transferred to the mortuary, pending burial.

The family of the victim has been left unconsolable following the tragic incident.
