Student at large after stabbing friend in School in Edea

A student of Ekite High School near Edea , Sanaga Maritime division of the Littoral region is said to be on the run after stabbing his classmate in a scuffle. The incident happened hour ago.


Reports hold that, it was while students were on break that a quarrel broke out between two friends. The student on the run is said to have in the process used a knife to stab his friend before escaping.
While the stabbed student is said to be receiving treatment at the Edea Regional Hospital, police have launched a man hunt for his friend who is accused of having stabbed him.


Police charged with handling the matter are said to have contacted parents of the student who committed the act.
Today’s incident follows yesterday’s stabbing to death of Francois Xavier Ghouda, 18, who was a student of Government Bilingual High School , GBHS, Bafoussam.

Unlike the case in Ekite, Ghouda was reportedly stabbed by thieves as he was returning home through a shortcut.
