Student goes viral after modeling stadium with cardboard

By Tata Mbunwe

Arsene Dongmo, a secondary school student of ITIE technical college, Etougebe, Yaounde, has been trending on social media platforms after modelling a stadium using cartons.

The student made an architectural design of a football stadium, which he adorned with the colors representative of Cameroon’s flag; Green, Red, and Yellow, sparking massive praises from Cameroonians on social media.

Many have lauded Arsene Dogmo’s creativity, stating such ingenuity has to be encouraged. Many already see him as a genius, an engineer and an invaluable potential in Cameroon.

Dongmo’s invention

Amazed by what Dongmo has produced, Adele Benye, a Facebook user, commented, “We need youth empowerment. What a brilliant talent that needs to be sponsored.”

She encouraged the youngster to keep up with the creativity and to never sit on his talent.

Also congratulating the student for his creative initiative, another social media user, Mark Tanko, is worried that such talent may just end up buried and may never be sponsored.
