The principal of the YONA college located in the Nkolbisson neighborhood in Yaoundé has reportedly been stabbed by one of his students.
The school authority was attacked after he confiscated a student’s pullover which, according to the rules, was not a regulated wear.
The student is said to have stormed the principal’s office around 10:15 am to recover the seized pullover.
Faced with the refusal of the principal, the learner reportedly pulled out a knife from his bag and stabbed the principal on the shoulder and in the stomach.
Having carried out the macabre act, the student took to his heels and was protected by some of his peers.
Teachers who went after him narrowly escaped being stabbed too.
