Suspected Child abuser apprehended in Yaoundé

An Anglophone IDP called George has been snatched from the cusp of death at Ballas, Obili in Yaoundé after he was accused by a woman of having raped her 4 year old daughter.

Though not caught in the act, she alerted the population which mercilessly pounced on the man, beating him up.

However, despite the lady’s insistence that George had raped her 4 year old girl child, most of George’s neighbors stand by him and are clear that he did not do anything of the sort.

Some of them believe that George is innocent of the accusations. George meanwhile, who was covered in bruises due to the beatings he incurred from the population and some elements of the Gendarmerie has been transferred to the Kondengui Maximum Prison.

Many persons who know George personally are still convinced that he is innocent and have this requested that an investigation be opened to establish the truth behind the whole incident.
