A young man whose names we could not get at press time was Saturday night arrested by Police after receiving snake beatings for stealing a mobile phone from a passenger at Vatican Express Yaounde.
Reports say he was caught by the owner of the phone in a VIP bus at the park who raised an alarm and alerted the population.
In less than no time, sticks, stones and other weapons emerged from no where as if to say they were ready to deal with any thief at any time.
The beatings were so severe that the management of the transport agency had to risk it all to prevent the him from being beaten to death.
He managed to locked him up in a corridor before alerting the police.
The suspect was later taken away in a taxi as blood could be seen ozzing from his nostrils.
Many at the agency complained that for a long time now, passengers have been complaining of missing properties stolen by thieves.
