Teacher found dead in Yaounde.

On Wednesday morning, the body of Arsene Kamto, a teacher at Yaounde’s Government High School Ngoulmekong, was discovered on the street. The instructor had been fatally stabbed, and the reason why the act was committed is still unknown.

A bystander near the home of Cameroon’s Secretary General discovered his corpse. The murder is being probed by the police, who were summoned to the site.

“I was on my way to my usual workout when I saw what appeared to be a human body on the ground from a distance. When I got closer, I saw that it was indeed a man who was lying dead and had been stabbed multiple times. From what people around him are saying, he is a teacher,” said our source.

This is the most recent fatality in a string that has been reported in Yaoundé over the past several weeks.

Two days ago, the body of an unnamed man was discovered in the streets of Awae, and the locals are concerned about rising insecurity in Yaounde, which is Cameroon’s capital city and the residence town of President Paul Biya

“It’s frightening how insecure Yaounde is right now. After six o’clock, it’s no longer safe to walk the streets. We beg the authorities and security personnel to take action. We are no longer secure in our own nation,” said Marcel Atangana, a resident in the area.
