The tribulations of politician, Prof Messanga Nyamding keep getting worse by the day.
The member of the Central Committee of the ruling CPDM party and political science and public law lecturer who had earlier been summoned on charges of spreading fake news has seen another feather taken off his cap.
Prof Messanga Nyamding was deposed from his position as head of department of Integration and Cooperation for Development at the International Relations Institute, IRIC, in Yaoundé.
His sacking from the position was made known by the Higher Education Minister Prof Jacques Fame Ndongo who failed to state what was to become of the politician, leaving him hanging.
This comes as the second challenge to the head of the Biyaist movement in just a few weeks, after he was summoned to the State Defense Secretariat, SED.
After honouring the summons, Prof Messanga who has been vocal even against some party bigwigs said it was an abuse of his authority.
Revealing that he was free to go, he said he blamed the summons on “… the taunts of some apostles of hatred and the dismay of the advocates of social justice…”
“I remain confident despite this very hard politically and psychologically unbearable blow… I remain strong and support our institutions more than ever…,” he stated.
“… I would like to thank all those who, directly or indirectly, were sensitive to this injustice ordered by ‘the hierarchy’,” the staunch Biya fanatic added.
