Third Suspect in Kadiri Sali’s Murder Arrested in Wum

Authorities say they have arrested Dahiru Amadu Tinoh, a 17-year-old armed robber, in Wum, marking the latest breakthrough in the investigation into the brutal kidnapping and murder of Kadiri Sali in Fumbot.

The suspect was found with a severe wrist injury, whose origin he is yet to explain.

Dahiru lives as an internally displaced person (IDP) in Bafoussam. He escaped to Wum with another gang member after Kadiri’s murder. Authorities arrested him after apprehending Ibrahim Abdullahi (21) and Usmanu Yakubu (38) earlier this month in Bamenda and Fumbot.

Earlier confessions from the captured suspects reveal that the suspects tortured Kadiri before hanging him to death.

Manhunt for Accomplices Continues

Security forces are intensifying their investigation, using phone records, messages, financial transactions, and movement history to identify and track down all individuals connected to the murder of Kadiri Sali.
