Three Arrested for Brutal Murder of Neptune Cashier in Efoulan

The Gendarmerie force of Yaounde II arrested three suspects of the brutal murder of Neptune Cashier at Efoulan. Bella, the Neptune cashier of Efoulan, was found lifeless in her home in a pool of blood on 2nd February 2025. The crime tool lay beside her, an iron with bloodstains on its cord. After a long investigation, authorities finally arrested three suspects, who are now at the Gendarmerie of Yaounde II.

When Bella’s colleague arrived at work on the 3rd of February, they discovered their colleague had not yet arrived to work and the found it unusual that, she was absent and she never arrives to work late, worried, they went to her home breaking into the locked house only to find Bella lying lifelessly in a pool of blood. They immediately alerted the gendarmerie.

The assailant struck the victim several times with the iron before using the iron cord to strangle her to death. Captain Eteta’a Awa’a of Yaounde II reported that the victim knew her killers. She trusted one of them and let him enter her house. After that, he called for his accomplices.

Investigators traced the first two suspects of the crime in Douala using Bella’s phone, already in their possession. This led to the apprehension of the main suspect, who lives at Obobogo railway in Yaounde, not far from the Neptune petrol station.
