Three Cameroon Indomitable Lion strikers have been nominated for the award of 2022 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Men’s player of the year.
They include: Karl Toko-Ekambi, Vincent Aboubakar and Zambo Anguissa.
They featured amongst the 30 players nominated for the Men’s player of the year.
Also present on the 30-man list, are Senegal’s Sadio Mané, goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy and Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez.
The CAF Awards will be held ahead of the Morocca-hosted Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco that kicks of on July 2nd.
It also coincides with the two-year anniversary of the launch of the CAF Women’s Football Strategy.
