Three Civilians Killed as Military Raids Bali




A military raid in Bali, North West Region claimed the lives of three civilians.



They were shot dead Thursday by elements of the Cameroon military in a fresh military raid.



The raid was carried out to hunt separatist fighters active in the sub division.


The Three men including the proprietor of Bafoussam Bar at Njenka in Bali, a Carpenter who was roofing a house and a Mechanic were shot and killed by armed men in military attires.


Eye witness accounts narrate that the military were shooting at random as a way to escape the Amba red zones after they had suffered a series of attacks along that stretch of road.”



The three were targeted because the soldiers had already arrived the security post at Njenka before firing at the civilians out of anger” an eye witness narrates.



Bali is one of the sub divisions in the northwest region with dreaded separatists groups fighting in the area.
