Three-Day-Old Baby Stolen from Ekoundom Baptist Hospital in Yaoundé

On the evening of August 3, around 7:30 PM, a three-day-old baby was reported to have been stolen from the Ekoundom Baptist Hospital in Yaoundé. The baby was last seen in the hospital’s maternity ward, where it was being cared for by the hospital staff.

The Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident, which has left the community in a state of shock and seeking answers. Locals have expressed their frustration through street protests, highlighting the ongoing issue of communication breakdown. Blockades have been set up around the hospital and nearby streets, as protesters demand transparency and swift action from the hospital administration and local authorities.

In the midst of the public’s concern, a message has been circulating on social media, calling for assistance in finding the missing infant. The message contains a heartfelt request for any information that may help bring the baby back safely.

The search for the stolen baby continues, and both the family and the residents of Yaounde hold onto hope that the baby will be found.
