Three dead, six injured as truck runs into house along Yaoundé-Bertoua road

Three persons are said to have died with six others severely injured after a heavy-duty truck ran into a house along the Yaoundé-Bertoua road.

The incident occurred in the locality of Dimako in the East Region.

The incident reportedly took place along the Abong-Mbang-Bertoua stretch at about 3 am breaking Tuesday, August 1, 2022.

It is reported that a heavy-duty truck transporting cattle from Abong mbang lost control and ended up in a nearby home.

The residents were said to be asleep when the sad incident occurred.

Amongst the deceased was the father of the house and the two other persons.

Those severely injured were rushed to a hospital in Bertoua where they are currently receiving medical attention.
