Three executed in Ekondo Titi

Shocking revelations from Ekondo Titi say military randomly selected three boys for execution in the place of ‘Amba’ fighters.

Mimi Mefo Info once again got hinted on another atrocity committed by security officials.

The incident occurred on July 31, 2020 in a small village in Ekondo Titi Sub-Division, South West region of Cameroon.

Before the incident, the military on the same day, reportedly raided Nganjo, killing one civilian in the process before proceeding to Mokono where they committed the heinous act.

“…I was there present when it happened. The entire village was surrounded by the Cameroon military. They then forced everyone to move to the village center where we sat there for close to seven hours within which each and every one of us where seriously beaten by the military officers present, forcing us to produce ‘Amba boys’ to them” he narrated.

He revealed that the boys were killed, despite testifying that they are not among those fighting for a breakaway state called Ambazonian.
“When they did that without any success, they then selected some three boys who had ‘dread locks’ on their head and blatantly told them they would be killed at midday on that 31st. Those boys cried and begged telling the military they were not ‘Amba’ fighters but the military insisted they must kill them to show an example to the villagers. That same day midday as they had promised, one of the military officers called their superior in Ekondo Titi and told him that they had caught 3 Amba fighters so he ordered for the boys to be killed with immediate effect” revealed our informant.

“Those boys were shot immediately. It was a really horrible experience for me. One of the boys as he was about to be shot kept on shouting and wailing ‘Please don’t kill me, Jesus please save me’. Tears filled my eyes. I was filled with pity for them… After that seven boys were equally selected by the military officers and ordered to bury the boys”

The operation is said to have started in nearby locality of Nganjo, where one person was killed.
