Three Indian males were caught raping a 14-year-old girl in Luma, Kribi in the South Region of Cameroon.
According to reports, passersby were attracted by the noises in a school building when they caught the three men alongside the 14-year-old and alerted other inhabitants of the village.
When interrogated, the Indian men claimed to have settled the young girl with the sum of 40, 000 FCFA, before proceeding with the act.
However, the girl claimed she had received just 4000 FCFA from them.
According to a source, such acts are recurrent, especially around Kribi.
“I am not surprised, I have stayed in Kribi for a good period and I once saw a woman who usually offered her daughter to men in exchange for money. Their target is usually white men,” a source said.
The three men were later arrested by the forces of law and order as more investigation will be carried out.
