Tiko-Douala Highway: Two die in ghastly accident

Two persons have died in a ghastly accident which occured today Thursday June 30, along the Tiko-Douala highway.

The incident which took place before the security control unit in Meselele is said to have claimed the lives a taxi driver and his assistant.

“The accident resulted from a tyre puncture while the vehicle attempted to cross over a bridge,” narrated a source who added that: “The vehicle was heading to Douala when it suddenly had a flat tyre around a bridge.”

The corpse of the deceased have been taken out of the scene to a mortuary — pending burial.
