Family and loved ones of Kigha Theodore, the North West Regional Delegate of Penitentiary Administration and three warders he was killed with continue to mourn their demise. They were killed after separatist fighters ambushed them in Kumbo ad they returned to Bamenda from Nkambe today. They had attended an installation ceremony and we’re on their way back when they were killed.





Many have questioned the lack of security measures which possibly led to the death of three Penitentiary officers today. Kigha Theodore, the North West Regional Delegate of Penitentiary Administration and three warders were ambushed by separatist fighters in Kumbo. At the time of the attack, they were not accompanied by any security forces, a situation many have questioned.





After bread and other basic commodities, cement is the latest product to witness price hikes. In many parts of the country, a bag of cement now costs from 6,000 FCFA upwards. Government continues to refrain from making any formal response to the inflation.
