Cameroon’s minister Delegate at the presidency in Charge Defense has arrived the Republic of Chad ahead of the burial of President Idriss Deby Igno tomorrow. More than 10 head of states and governments are expected to attend. Joseph Beti has handed a sealed message from Paul Biya to the president of the military junta.


Has the government of Cameroon endorsed military rule in the republic of Chad? That is the question observers as asking as the government of President Paul Biya has not condemned the military take over following the death of President Idriss Deby Itno.

The people of Touborou in the far North region of Cameroon have signed a petition to the government calling for increased security. In the document, they decried several attacks, killings and abduction carried out by terrorists.

Evangelist Mutangha Sylvanus Tifu has offered food stuff to people detained in connection to the Anglophone crisis at the Buea Central prison in the South West region of Cameroon. To the former inmate and militant of Cameroon Renaissance Movement party, the gesture is the will of God to help those in need.

Two suspected bandits have been killed at a place called Mobile Nkwen in Bamenda North West region of Cameroon. Witnesses say they tried snatching money from a woman leaving a bank. Separatist activists said the boys are fake separatist fighters that commit atrocities to tarnish their image.

Cameroon’s army chief of staff has reiterated the need for a more security in the East region. General Rene Claude Meka visiting the East region said insecurity in the Central African Republic remains a threat to Cameroon.
