Some students of Government Bilingual High School, Dschang have sustained injuries after being struck by lightning. The students say they were seating under a tree and suddenly discovered themselves in a different location with torn dresses and some of them naked.

Locals in Limbe are demanding national recognition of two fishermen that killed a big shark this week. The delegation of fishery has congratulated the men for making the country proud by killing the sea beast.


Presidents of military tribunals in Cameroon are meeting in Yaounde to discuss challenges and ways to improve military justice in Cameroon. Over the years, Cameroonians have been pointing accusing fingers at military justice as an avenue that promotes the violation of human rights in the country. This, they say, is typical in the Anglophone regions where suspected separatists are arrested and taken to other regions for judgement though each region has a military tribunal.

Ten members of a gang of bandits have been apprehended in Pitoa- Garoua in the North region by elements of the National Gendarmerie. The boys are said to have been terrorising inhabitants for weeks now, carrying out several illegal cts including kidnappings.

A commercial motorcycle rider has died in Nkongsamba town, Moungo division of the Littoral region. While on high speed, he hit a vehicle and died at the spot while his passenger sustained injuries.

Some 44 Cameroonian lawyers trained in different countries have been admitted in the Cameroon bar association today. The ceremony took place at the Centre Regional court of appeal in Yaounde. The interim bar Council president speaking during the ceremony urged them to maintain the respect of professional ethics.
