A truck believed to be transporting brasseries products has been reportedly torched by Ambazonia fighters called The Eyumojock Ghost Warriors. The incident happened along the Ekok -Eyumojock road on Tuesday. It is the second attack on the same road in less than one month.




Five suspected traffickers have been arrested in Gaschiga in the North region of Cameroon. They were caught with 42 bags of pangolin skins — and are reported to have testified to buying the protected species from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Central African Republic.


Cameroonians are questioning what positive outcome could emerge from an ongoing campaign against hate speech and Xenophobia. The move was launched by the national commission for the promotion of bilingualism and multiculturalism. Many argue that the commission has been unable to stop the war in the restive North West and South West regions; adding that, hate speech cannot depart from the lips of people when an outright war is still on.



Ten people arbitrarily arrested in Kungi village in Nkambe Sub Division, North West Region of Cameroon have been released. They were taken on instructions of the D.O, Ngida Laurence who accused them of conniving with separatists who reportedly razed down a school.


Some elites of the Nwa Subdivision (Fulani’s and Natives) have met in Yaoundé today to discuss the persistent attacks by the Fulani herdsmen on the population of Nwa. Both parties have taken responsibility on the escalating conflict in Nwa and promised to work together to restore peace within the Sub-Division.


Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute today represented President Paul at the swearing in ceremony of Central African Republic President, Faustin Archange Tuadera. Tuadera was reelected in a controversial vote earlier this year and will be leading the crisis striken country for five more years.


Cameroon today played a 0-0 draw against Rwanda at the Japoma Stadium in Douala. It was the final game of the AFCON Qualifiers to be played in Cameroon in 2022. Though Cameroon ended top of the group, they however qualify automatically as hosts of the tournament.


Cameroonian striker Eric Maxim Choupo Moting is poised to be given more opportunities at his German Club side, Bayern Munich following an injury by star striker, Robert Lewandoski. The Polish Striker got injured while he was on International duty and will therefore be absent for at least 4 weeks.
