Cameroon’s Minister of Transports, Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe has lifted the ban on Avenir Voyages Travel Agency. The inter-urban travel agency was given a one-month of suspension following the deadly accident at Ndikiminiki months ago — More than 37 lives perished in the accident. Avenir Voyages is now free to relaunch operations.




The Member of Parliament of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement (MRC), Honorable Lazare Souob has died. He died in Douala very early on Wednesday. He was reportedly admitted to the hospital three weeks ago.



The Divisional Officer of Nkambe Sub-Division, in Cameroon’s restive North West Region, has opted not to react to a viral video — showing how he was ordering for an arbitrary arrest of 10 men in Kungi village. According to Ngida Laurence, every Cameroonian is allowed “to give any interpretation to the video”.




The Senior Divisional Officer for Mezam says the continous attacks on road workers in Bamenda II Sub-Division are detrimental to the development of the community. In a council session today, Simon Emile Mooh said, hoodlums in the Mankon Fondom have been a serious threat to road workers, especially those who are not from the region.



Prime Minister and head of government, Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute has called on members of his government to encourage scientific research approaches to tackle diseases and “reduce dependency on foreign experts”. Dion Ngute made the call at the last cabinet’s meeting for the month of March — in Yaounde.




The Kumba City Council is now grading major roads in the Capital Meme Division (Kumba). The mayor of Kumba I, Greg Mewanu and the SDO of Meme were on the field today to supervise progress made so far.



23 Nations have obtained their qualification tickets to the 2022 AFCON in Cameroon. There is only one qualifier game left which will be between Benin and Sierra Leone. The encounter nations was abandoned after Benin challenged Covid-19 tests results which showed 5 of it’s players tested positive.





The Head Coach of the Rwandan Football Team, Vincent Mashami has also accused the Cameroon medical staff of manipulating Covid-19 tests results. Some players of the Rwandan team were declared unfit for the game which ended 0-0 after test results confirmed they were infected. Vincent Mashami says “it is not possible”.
