Police in Bertoua are searching for a man who dumped human bones in one of the city’s neighborhoods. Locals discovered the bag containing the human bones and alerted the police. The trafficking in human bones and parts have been frequent in the East region as insecurity persist in neighbouring Central African Republic.


The president of the National Assembly is calling on social media users to let Cameroon’s judicial system handle the issue of the embezzlement of COVID-19 funds by some members of government. Hon. Cavaye Yeguié Djibril opening the June session today recommended the continuous respect of COVID-19 preventive measures.

Cameroon handball lionesses have defeated Kenya 40 goals to 16 this evening in an opening match to mark the beginning of the African Women Handball Championship. The championship bringing together 11 teams will run till June 18th.
