Trump challenges Twitter, promises to build free speech platform

The battle between US president Donald Trump and social media sites is still raging on as he is almost being removed from power.

With Trump’s accounts being disciplined on different social media sites and his content limited, he has promised to create a platform where no one will be silenced.

Twitter, he said, “has gone further and further in banning free speech, and tonight, Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the radical left in removing my account from their platform to silence me – and you, the 75,000,000 great Patriots who voted for me…”

While Twitter may be a private company, he said, it doesn’t give them the right to impede free speech. To this end, “… We have been negotiating with various other sites and will have a big announcement soon, while we also look at the possibilities of building out our own platform in the near future. We will not be silenced!” He stated.

With barely 11 days to hand over power, President Trump has also announced that he will not be attending Biden’s inauguration.
