Two killed in Bonaberi bike accident.

Hardly can a weekend go by without cases of accidents reported in Douala, Cameroon’s economic capital.

On this Sunday October 20, 2019, in Bonaberi, there was another bloody scene following a fatal accident.

The incident took place at about midday around the entrance to La Pasta opposite Hotel de Rail, Bonaberi when a trailer at high speed knocked down a man on a bike riding on “the wrong side of the road,” according to sources.

Locals assist police to evacuate the corpse

The bike rider and one other died as a result of the collision. The rider of the trailer is said to have disappeared into thin air after the incident.

Cameroonian roads are being described as death traps due to little or no repair works carried out on them.
