Some two women whose names MMI is yet to get have been caught stealing in a phone shop at ancien 3eme in Douala, Littoral Region of Cameroon.
They were tracked and caught with the use of a CCTV surveillance camera.
According to sources, these women entered the shop and pretended to buy.
After getting hold of an iphone 11 pro max, they drop it in one of their bags and attempted to escape before being nabbed.
A footage obtained from the CCTV camera shows the two women pretending as if they wanted to pay but rather dropped the phone in a handbag and took leave.
“At the beginning of the video, she is seen putting the phone in a bag and pretends to take out money to pay.She wastes time and then gets up and leaves with the phone,” a worker in the shop told MMI further narrating that, ” The owner knowing her well called her on the phone to come and hand over the iphone she took. She totally denied, forgetting that the shop is equipped with cameras.”
