Two Seriously Injured in Ghastly Accident in Buea

Two people are reported to be in critical condition after they were involved in a car accident that occurred around 10 pm Sunday, November 24, 2024, near Biaka Junction in Buea.

The incident involved a Rav 4 vehicle traveling from Molyko towards Bonduma, which collided head-on with a pick-up truck descending from Bonduma.

Both vehicles were occupied solely by their drivers, who sustained severe injuries, including trauma to the head, hands, and legs.

The injured drivers were immediately rushed to the Buea Regional Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical attention.

As of this morning, the two badly damaged vehicles remain at the accident site, causing partial obstruction along the road.

Authorities are yet to issue a statement regarding the cause of the collision, while efforts to clear the scene are ongoing.
