Two Yaoundé I University students arrested for PBHev theft

Two student leaders at the University of Yaoundé I have been nabbed alongside one senior staff of the information service for conspiring to steal over 400 PBhev laptops from the university.

The culprits were reportedly arrested by the police after an investigation was opened on the instructions of the Rector of the university, Professor Maurice Aurelienne Sosso.

The computers in question belonged to the Faculty of Science of the University, and the Dean of the Faculty, who is in charge of the room which stores the computers was equally questioned at the State Secretariat for Defense (SED).

The culprits meanwhile have been presented to the Attorney General of the Mfoundi Court of First Instance, where they will be appearing for trial subsequently.
