Boull Serge says Federation does not recognise team representing Cameroon
The Cameroonian Volleyball team has distanced itself from a team baring the Cameroonian colors at the ongoing 2023 U19 Girls World Championship.
According to a release signed by the president of the Federation Boull Serge on August 2, 2023, the genuine national team is currently not partaking in the said competition.
“The president of the Federation is offended by the allocation of this team to Cameroon… The Federation cannot, therefore, be accountable for the results of this team,” Boull Serge stated in the release.
It should be noted that the said team in a recent game was defeated with a score of 3-0.
In this light, the president has called on all fans and supporters of Cameroonian Volleyball, to ” remain confident, and determined interest in break the dynamic of progression of Cameroonian volleyball recognized by the highest authorities of the Nation.”
