UB final year student dies after submitting defense project.

Kenmagne Marlyse Laury, a final year student in the Faculty of Education, University of Buea, (UB) has suddenly died.

The incident occurred Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Reports say the student with registration number ED20A441 died shortly after submitting part of her defense project.

A source told MMI that, she complained of a stomach ache upon returning home and later died.

“a UB student just died after summiting chapter give of her project and she when back home crying of stomach pain,” a source told MMI.

She was rushed to the hospital where she died of complications as medics struggled to identify the exact nature of the problem.

“They took her to the hospital and the doctor said it was appendix and later said it was gastric and again said it was lever problem. Just like that and she died” our source added.
