The Vice Chancellor of the University of Bamenda, UBa has urged newly admitted students of the institution to remain steadfast in their goal to attain academic excellence.
Prof. Theresa Akenji was speaking during the institution’s matriculation ceremony where over 2,000 newly admitted students were officially welcomed.
The VC urged them to get acquainted with online learning platforms used by the University, noting that online learning has come to stay.
Measures put in place to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, she added, should be upheld to the highest standards possible.
Being one of the youngest state universities, the University of Bamenda has as goals, teaching, research and outreach.
Currently, it is made of six faculties, five higher institutes, and one college.
