Unidentified Woman’s Body Found at Naka Junction Bamenda

Residents of Naka Junction in Bamenda awoke to a chilling scene: the body of an unidentified woman lying by the roadside. Witnesses and local sources suggest that someone brought the woman to the location and executed her. This has intensified fears over rising violence in the area.

While details of the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, the woman’s body bore signs of torture and a gunshot wound, painting a harrowing picture for those who discovered her. Locals described the grim discovery as yet another tragic indication of escalating insecurity in the region.

One social media user expressed frustration and grief felt by many in Bamenda.

“We are tired of typing ‘rest in peace’ in this town. Oh Lord, come to our rescue,” they said. This sentiment mirrors a common feeling among residents tired of the violence and the constant sense of vulnerability in their communities.

As investigations continue, the precise events leading to the woman’s death are still unknown, though the apparent gunshot wound has left many to speculate about her final moments.

Four women from Bamenda have died due to violence in the past week. Ambazonia separatists killed the second deputy mayor. Another unidentified woman fell victim to the same separatists, who claimed she was dating a soldier. Vivian Bongka died after her husband, who is now deceased, poured acid on her.
