University of Buea receives donation of ICT equipment for the College of Technology

The University of Buea, College of Technology (COT), has received ICT equipment from JoinIT Solution LLC. The donations are aimed at improving the training of students.

The donations took place at an event that was held on Thursday, 5th January 2023.

This was following a memorandum of understanding signed between the University of Buea and JoinIT Solution LLC.

The Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellors, and the Director of the College of technology witnessed the agreement.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ngomo Horrace appreciates the efforts made by the CEO of Joint Solutions for reinforcing the training Capacity of COT.

He equally appraised the efforts of the Director of COT of Professor Micheal Done “for the proactive work he has been doing to uplift the teaching and research capacity of COT”.

Ngomo Horrace underscored the importance of ensuring quality in training students so that their performance will interest companies like Joint Solution.

Meanwhile, Brain Chongwain, CEO of Joint Solutions presented an ICT Certification Programme and discussions on database training.
