The Washington-DC based organisation, COREGROUP has named a Cameroonian born Medical Doctor with a track record in influencing global discussions in Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, New-born, Child, and Adolescent Health, Dr. Enow Awah Georges Stevens amongst its new Board of Directors. This brings the number of Board of Directors to fifteen.
Dr. Enow is currently the Regional Advisor for Youth, CSE & YSRHR Programming at IPPF Africa Region where he provides strategic and technical guidance to the IPPF program in Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and Youth SRHR programs design and management.
Dr. Enow brings a wealth of community, National, and International working experience to COREGROUP Board. He worked previously at the WHO CSO ACT-Accelerator where he led the treatment pillar in the fight against COVID-19.
The Associate Royal Commonwealth fellow has proven capability in delivering quality results, improved human resource capabilities and clinical skills, capacity building, health diplomacy, meeting national health plan goals, and meaningfully engaging young people.
Reacting to the news of his appointment to the Board of Directors of CORE Group, Dr. Enow said he was “honoured, humbled, and inspired by the confidence reposed in him by CORE Group”.
