Vatican Express Involved in Latest Accident, Road Safety Crisis in Cameroon?

Vatican Express is reported to have had an accident this evening, adding to a worrying trend in Cameroon, which is arguably, reaching a crisis point. The accident occurred as the Vatican Express was travelling to Yaounde, the capital city of Cameroon. It was involved in an accident close to Makenene, continuing a worrying trend of road accidents in the country.

This is the latest in a string of fatal collisions that have occurred around the nation in recent days, and it happened only hours after another tragedy this morning close to Bafang. Many people are said to have died in the earlier accidents, which happened over the weekend at Dschang hill and Limbe.

The number of people killed in the Vatican Express disaster is yet unknown, therefore, police are asking people to drive carefully. These latest events draw attention to the growing concern over traffic safety in Cameroon, where many fatalities are attributed to aging cars, bad road conditions, and irresponsible driving.

As the nation deals with an increasing number of fatalities on its roads, pressure on government representatives to address these concerns is probably going to increase.

This is a developing Story and we will be bringing more updates as we get them.
