Vincent Aboubakar and Njie Clinton will not play tomorrow

The Indomitable Lions have announced on their Facebook page that two crucial players will be unavailable for the upcoming match against Senegal. They are Cameroon forward Clinton Njie and team captain Vincent Aboubakar.

During a pre-match press conference today, Lion’s coach, Rigobert Song, announced that  “Aboubakar Vincent has resumed training but will not play the Senegal match. As for Andre Onana, we will see his form to determine if he can play – it all depends on him.”

Cameroon will play their second match at the AFCON game tomorrow at 5 p.m.

Aboubakar Vincent was absent from the Indomitable Lions’ first match against Guinea.

The Indomitable Lion suffered an injury during a training session just days before the start of the African Cup of Nations. It remains unclear if his frequent absence is connected to the incident, despite medical reports confirming his fitness for the tournament.

The team’s first encounter with Guinea Conakry ended in a 1-1 tie.
