Woman bears five children for her father, brother

A 35-year-old woman in Eseka, Center Region, says she has been sexually abused by her father and brother for the past over 20 years during which she is reported to have borne five children.

In a report by Vision 4 television, neighbors of the said family testified to the incestuous act, noting that the father in question is renowned for “womanizing”.

“That father has exaggerated. It is his daily work. When women go to the waters to bathe, he is there to spy on them. When he meets little girls on the road, he begins to kiss them and touch their private parts,” an Eseka local told Vision 4.

The young woman also acknowledged she has been undergoing abuse in her family, and that all attempts to get her mother to react were futile.

“It all started when my father asked me to follow him to his farm. When we usually got to the farm, he would touch me by inserting his fingers into my private part,” the victim recounted.

“Every night I would tell my mother, but she would give me deaf ears. What I am explaining right now began ever since,” she went on.

However, talking to Vision 4 TV, the father acknowledged having sexually abused his daughter by touching her private part, but denied having sex with her.

“I have accepted what I have done. But I have not accepted what they have said. I have accepted that touched her, with my fingers in her vagina. I have accepted that I touched her breasts,” he emphasized while talking to Vision 4.

When informed of the act, the traditional ruler of Eseka summoned the entire family to the Palace, where the public administered 250 strokes each to the father, the brother, and the mother of the victim for concealing the act.

Based on the customs of the area, the father and brother must publicly have sex with the victim before they can be completely forgiven of the act.
