Woman beaten to death by boyfriend in Douala

A man has reportedly beaten his girlfriend to death in Douala.

We gathered that the man who’s name we got as Bertrand has been cohabiting with the said lady, Annie.

The lady is a mother of four kids. Bertrand is said to be the father of one of the kids.

MMI gathered that Annie who was the owner of a local beer parlor in Bepanda where she lived with her lover bought a piece of land and her “husband” discovered the deal and became furious.

He is reported to have asked Annie to give her the land documents as the head of the house but Annie resisted and it sparked a fight.

The lady is said to have decided to leave the union.

She left with her children and started selling cooked food until this fateful day when her “ex-husband” invited her for a reconciliation talks saying he wanted issues fixed.

During their meeting in Bertrand’s house, the talks did not go down well with the two but sparked up again in another fight. In the process, Annie was beaten to death by her ex lover.

He was arrested by the Gadamerie in Bepanda while Annie’s corpse is at the mortuary.
