Woman Suspected of Arming Robbers Arrested in Nkongsamba

A 38-year-old woman suspected of supplying bullets to armed robbers has been caught by forces of law and order in Nkongsamba, in the Littoral Region .

The operation which led to the arrest was carried out on March 14, by elements of the Moungo North Gendarmerie. She was discovered with a host of weapons and cartridges in her residence.

Security sources reveal they had received Intel about the lady’s possible activities in Nkongsamba with alleged thugs. It was claimed that she was the one supplying ammunition to the highway robbers in Nkongsamba with which their operations were carried out.

Investigations meanwhile have continued by the Gendarmerie to establish more facts about the suspect’s activities.
